We loved providing videography services for Thomas and Christina’s October wedding in Apex at the bride’s parent’s home. We had filmed Christina’s sister’s wedding a few years before, so it was so great working with this sweet family again. Similar to her sister, Christina chose our most popular True Romance videography package so they could have a full day of filming and capturing the best shots.

The Proposal

Thomas decided to pop the question in Belize and in the bar where they first met. Thomas’s friend Peter organized a poker run bar-crawl. At the first bar, you get your first cards, and you continue to build your hand as you travel to other bars. In the end, the best hand wins the pot. It just so happens that the Poker Run ended in the bar where Thomas & Christina met. They had “planned” for Christina to win, but she actually had a winning hand tied with 2 other people. So Peter called Thomas up and said he had the winning hand. All the while, Christina is protesting that Thomas did NOT have the winning hand. She was still arguing as Thomas dropped to one knee. It was a completely original and a fun night had by all. Christina had no idea and loved the ring. And to top it all off, they also won enough money to cover their bar tab!
