Mindy + Ty
October 21, 2017
Family Farm in Oxford, NC
We had such a wonderful time at this sweet family farm fall wedding in Oxford, NC. K2Productions provided DJ, up lighting and videography services for Mindy and Ty’s ceremony and reception. We loved their rustic theme and it was truly a beautiful day.
The Proposal
Ty asked for Mindy’s parents permission! Ty proposed to Mindy in downtown Raleigh on February 21, 2015. Caleb, Ty’s son, chauffeured Mindy to Ty where he was nervously awaiting her arrival. As soon as Mindy walked in the door, Ty got down on one knee and popped the question! In May 2016, Mindy and Ty had still not set a date (went through a rough year, but came out of it stronger than ever). With an upcoming trip planned for Wilmington for her cousins college graduation, Ty thought it was the perfect time to reaffirm his proposal at the place where it all started. On the evening of May 5th, Ty walked Mindy out onto the beach under the bright moon and stars, and once again popped the question!!
First Dances
Ty and Mindy chose the song “Come Away With Me” by Nora Jones for their first dance as husband and wife. Then, Mindy danced with her dad to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland. Next, Ty danced with his mom to “Like My Mother Does” by Lauren Alaina.
