Larren + Brandon’s modern & romantic Summerfield Farms spring wedding took place in May of 2016. They were married at the property’s Little Tree and the reception was in the Main Barn. They combined all of K2’s services, DJ, Video and Lighting, by choosing the Ultimate Wedding Day.
Their Beginning
Both Larren and Brandon are North Carolina natives. Larren, from Granite Quarry, NC, attended UNCW and then returned to Granite Quarry for nursing school. She is now a Critical Care RN at Rowan Medical Center. Brandon, from Salisbury, NC, is described by Larren as “easy going & humble”. The couple loves to hang out with family and friends.
The Proposal
Larren and Brandon were in Las Vegas for Brandon’s 30th birthday. Brandon kept joking that they should get married while they were in Vegas. Larren would laugh it off and say “Not until I have a ring!”. Little did she know that her ring was in Brandon’s luggage. When they got to their room, Larren was looking out the balcony while Brandon slipped the ring out of his bag and said “Here is your ring…will you marry me?” Of course, she said “YES!!”.
The Wedding
Sassyfras Studios and K2’s Mario & Corey captured Larren and Brandon’s modern & romantic wedding. Their wedding colors, green, navy, and cream perfectly complimented the gorgeous surroundings at Summerfield Farms. Jac Grimes, from All Faiths Wedding Officiants of the Triad, officiated their beautiful outdoor ceremony under the Little Tree. Friends and family moved to Summerfield Farm’s Main Barn where they enjoyed food from Fresh.Local.Good Food Group and cake from Abigail’s: A Cake Affair. The couple chose the perfect mix of music for the evening to highlight their easy going, yet fun personalities. DJ Q was honored to be part of their wedding day and kept everyone entertained and dancing throughout the night.
