Raleigh’s Merrimon Wynne House, April 28th, 2024. This was a historic setting, bathed in sunset colors – lilac, blue, succulent green, champagne, rose – creating a vibe that was just right. And in the middle of it all? Alistair and Laura, celebrating their love story in a way that was uniquely them. K2’s videography team and DJ Evan were thrilled to be a part of their special day.
One of the things that really struck us about Alistair and Laura is their shared love of adventure. Alistair mentioned how Laura’s world expanded after they met, traveling and exploring together. It’s that kind of partnership that makes you smile.
The wedding itself was filled with personal touches. A first look on the Merrimon Wynne patio, a sweet, private moment before the ceremony. Their first dance, a choreographed routine to Jake Owen’s “Made For You,” was a highlight. And a private last dance, a quiet moment for just the two of them, was the perfect way to end the night.
They also had a Polaroid guest book – a brilliant idea! Imagine flipping through those candid snapshots and heartfelt messages years from now, seeing their wedding day through the eyes of their loved ones and friends. A unique way to capture the atmosphere of the celebration.
And our K2 team had a blast. Miranda led the videography while Ryan captured those crucial second angles, and DJ Evan kept the dance floor packed. It was a day filled with genuine emotion and a whole lot of love.
