We just loved this sweet couple and how they made the most of a not so great situation in 2020. They had a big indoor wedding planned and then had to rearrange everything so they could have an outdoor wedding with close family and friends. They moved to a private parking lot with 2 huge tents outside so they could keep everyone distanced. This outdoor wedding and reception was one of our favorites in 2020.
The Proposal
Jonathan knew Melissa was the one for quite some time and knew that he wanted to surprise her with the proposal. He decided Central Park would be a great spot as it’s both iconic and provides a great backdrop for photos and decided on the Gapstow Bridge. Fast forward to the day of the proposal and on the way down to Central Park, Melissa kept talking about memories when they first started dating. Once they got there, Jonathan then got down on one knee and Melissa thought he was joking, but then he pulled out the ring box, opened it up and said “I knew I wanted to be with you when we first met, I knew I loved you when you took care of me when I was sick, and now I know I want to marry you. Melissa will you marry me?”
K2 provided videography and DJ services for this Jewish wedding. We loved capturing all of the special Jewish wedding traditions.
