Nahla and Jordan knew each other from high school, although they were not in the same class or the same social circles. When they were both in college in Boone, NC, a mutual friend came to visit and the two reconnected. They’ve been together ever since.
When he was ready to propose, Jordan wanted to include the couple’s dog, Maple. One morning, as Nahla was getting home from her nursing job, Maple greeted her at the door—with an engagement ring tied to her collar! Nahla couldn’t say no to such a sweet proposal, and the wedding was planned for September 2024.
When the day came, guests gathered at the Loray Mill event space in Gastonia, NC. K2 Weddings provided music for the ceremony and, once again, Maple played the role of ringbearer.
The reception started with the entrance of the bridal party, followed by the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Osborne. The couple shared their first dance to, “Beyond,” by Leon Bridges.
After dinner, Nahla danced with her father and Jordan danced with his mother. K2 Weddings DJ Stephen invited guests to join them on the dancefloor, and they were quickly surrounded with friends and family who were ready to celebrate. With his energetic mix of upbeat songs—and requests from guests sprinkled in—DJ Stephen kept the dance party going for the rest of the evening.
As the party ended, the newlyweds thanked their guests and headed off to start their life together as the Osborne family: Nahla, Jordan, and Maple, of course!
