Adaumont Farm

Adaumont Farm is one of our favorite venues to attend and we loved being a part of this lovely fall wedding at the farm in Trinity, NC. We were able to get some stunning shots of the couple overlooking the water. The grounds at Adaumont Farm provide the perfect backdrop for our videography team. We just love all these beautiful images captured by Ashley Stone Photography as well.

How They Met

Casey and Katie met at a smoothie shop in Greensboro. Casey was behind Katie in line and tapped her on the shoulder to ask if she had ever had a smoothie before. She replied yes and sarcastically asked where he was from that didn’t have smoothies, and he responded Oklahoma. After placing her order, she went to pay for her drink but Casey put his card in front of hers and intimidated the cashier into taking his card stating that he was a “gentleman from Oklahoma”. After paying for her drink he asked to sit with Katie and they got to know each other for a while. After an hour he asked to take her on a date that night. She said yes; we went bowling and to Cookout and have been dating ever since.

First Dances

Katie and Casey chose the song “Remember When” by Alan Jackson for their first dance as husband and wife. Next, Katie danced with her dad to “The Man Who Loves You the Most” by Zac Brown Band. Then, Casey danced with his mom and then his new mother-n-law to “The Dance” by Tim McGraw. The couple also played the very popular “Shoe Game” to see just how well they really knew each other.
