Emily and Austin did not let a pandemic stand in the way of their special day. This sweet couple had a beautiful June wedding at Boxwood Estate in Mocksville, NC. They had all of their guests attend the outdoor ceremony and then only a few friends and family stayed for the reception outdoors under a tent. It was a very sweet, intimate wedding and we are so glad we were able to be a part of it.
The Proposal
Austin and Emily had been cherry picking at an orchard in Virginia several times before so they decided to return in the fall to try apple picking. They drove to Virginia with 2 of their good friends and it was probably the hottest day of October but they went anyway and walked forever getting to the apple trees. They all picked for a while and then decided to start walking back to the truck. They had made it most of the way back when Austin’s friend Cody tells Emily that he sees the best apples at the top of this one tree. Emily climbed to the top and found nothing. When she got to the bottom, she turned around and Austin was down on one knee asking her to marry him!
