We loved providing DJ services for this beautiful July reception in Thomasville at the T. Austin Finch House. This couple had to change their plans due to the pandemic so their wedding day ended up being a scaled down version of the original plan, but they made the most of it.

The Proposal

Tierra and Jabari and Jabari’s son, Jamari traveled to Philly for a family reunion. They had a karaoke competition and Jabari called Tierra up on a stage and he said he was embarrassed to be on stage alone. He stood behind Tierra and then everyone in the crowd starting pointing behind Tierra. She turned around and Jabari was down on one knee.

First Dances

Jabari and Tierra chose the song “Spend My Life With You” by Eric Benet featuring Tamia for their first dance as husband and wife. Then, Tierra danced with her father to “Always Be Your Baby” by Natalie Grant. DJ Q did a great job continuing to play music for their reception.
