K2 was thrilled to be a part of Courtney and Alex’s wedding. They got married in downtown Greensboro at the Cadillac Service Garage on April 6th, 2024. It was a garden/cocktail vibe with black, white, and rich burgundy colors setting the scene.
We had the pleasure of providing the music for their big day, with our very own DJ Sean at the helm. And speaking of awesome teams, Hannah Miller from Events by Summer Joy absolutely crushed it. We always love working with her and Summer – they just get it.
Here’s a fun fact: Courtney and Alex’s story starts at NC State, bonding over building Formula-style race cars with Wolfpack Motorsports. Talk about a unique meet-cute! Alex even pulled off a stellar surprise proposal. He told Courtney he wouldn’t pop the question in 2023, and then BAM! Right as the New Year’s ball dropped, down on one knee he went.
Their music taste? Totally on point. They kicked off their first dance to Tyler Childers’ “All Your’n,” which was just perfect. Then, they took us on a musical journey through the 90s, 00s, country hits, and some fun line dances. To cap off the night, they shared a private last dance to Johnny Cash’s “Hurt,” a really special moment.
